Methods: Eleven Negro male former addicts who were in good physical and mental health served as. subJects. All these patients were familiar with the effects of marihuana, LSD, and were accus tomed to the experimental environm~nt. General Conditions: All experiments were conducted ·in a special ward. Men entered the ward on the night preceding the test. They awakened at 6 a.m. Drugs were given.orally wer~ With the patients fasting. Patients were observed after 10 minutes rest in bed but· were free to mingle with other pat ie.nts during intervals between observations. Measurements: The following measurements were obtained at hourly intervals once before, and eight times after administra tion of the drug: 1. rectal temperature·; 2. systolic and diastolic blood pressure; 3. pulse rate; 4. respiratory rate; 5. pupillary size; 6. threshold for kneejerk; 1. LSD questionnaire; !3 -( -·· # Page 2 Report on K-302 8. · notes on behavior. Drugs: K-302 was dissolved in 3-5 cc. of ethyl alcohol, and diluted in distilled ~ter to 30 cc. ~he crude fungus was dispersed in water, using a Waring blender. Placebo was spinach ground 1-n water in a blender to simulate the appearance of the crude fungus. Doses used are shown in the.tables attached which also give a qualitative assessment of the results on the various measurements. In addition, data on patients receiving 2.5 grams or more of K-302 (4), or 15.0-20 grams of fungus {5) were analyzed and averaged according to the system used in assessing LSD effects. Result·s: K-302. Pupillary dilatation was noted in every case even with a dose of 0.3 grams. Change in·blood press~re and knee Jerks did not seem significant until 2.5-3.0 grams were given. SubJective effects were not noted consistently until 2.5-3.0 4 grams were given. All patients receiving these a~~unts became elated, silly, and giggled. They reported nervousness, vague fears, changes in body sensation (numbness, light,- etc.). One (Foster) gave a picture very similar to LSD (euphoria, silliness, visual distortion, depersonalization, iightSi colors, et6.}. Crude Fungus. Definite changes in blood pressure, pupils and kneejerks
The provided image is a webpage header, not a declassified CIA document. It features a stylized graphic of a bank vault door on the left and text on the right. The text indicates that this document was obtained from "The Black Vault," an online database of declassified government documents, specifically concerning the MKULTRA/Mind Control Collection. The collection includes over 20,000 pages declassified by the CIA and is available for download online at a provided URL. There are no photographs, handwritten annotations, official stamps, forms, handwritten notes, diagrams, tables, redactions, or visual evidence of experimental procedures present in this image; it is purely informational text and a graphic.
The page contains a typed report with a handwritten annotation of "140" circled in the upper right corner. Below the title "REPORT ON K-302," the report details an experiment involving human subjects. The text describes procedures, conditions, and measurements taken. In the lower right corner, there is a handwritten notation "B-6" and a small stamp that appears to be a routing mark. There are no photographs, diagrams, forms, or tables visible on this page.

Definite changes in blood pressure, pupils and kneejerks were observed with doses of 10-20 grams. All patients receiving 15-20 grams had subjective effects, most frequently described as being those of marihuana. The LSD pattern (anxiety, perceptual distortion, hallucinations) were seen in 3. /}-6 -- Page 3 Placebo. All results were negative. CCJr.llMENTS . ... The results warrant the statement that both the crude fungus and K-302 have sympathomimetic activity a·nd will induce psychic changes in man. The data are not sufficient to characterize the reaction completely or to assess with any exactness the relative 2.5-j.o potencies. About grams of K-302 seems roughly equivalent to 10-15 grams of the crude rr~terial. Plans: See letter. 8-6. '\ ~-·~ Page 4 K-302 I . This page is a type-written report with handwritten annotations. At the top of the page, there is a handwritten note "B-6" in the bottom right corner. The page is mostly text, describing notes on behavior related to a substance labeled "K-302". There are no photographs, diagrams, forms, tables, or official stamps visible on this page. The text describes experimental procedures, including the dissolution of "K-302" and crude fungus in water and ethyl alcohol, and the administration of these substances to patients. It details observations on the subjects' physical and psychological reactions.

This page appears to be a typed report from a MKUltra-related document. It includes a title "Report on K-302" and the page number "Page 3". The content discusses "Placebo" results as negative and provides "Comments" on the effects of "K-302" and crude fungus, noting their sympathomimetic activity. There is handwritten marginalia at the bottom right: "B-6.". There are no photographs, official stamps, forms, diagrams, tables, or visual evidence of experimental procedures visible on this page.
The document is a declassified CIA file page containing a table documenting experimental data. The table has columns labeled "Man," "Dose," "Pupil," "BP," "KJ," and "Subjective." Many entries in the "Man" column are obscured by horizontal black redactions, suggesting the identities of the subjects are classified. The table presents numerical and symbolic data, likely related to physiological and psychological responses to drug administration. Below the table, there are key notations explaining the abbreviations "BP," "KJ," and "+." There is also a handwritten annotation "B-6" at the bottom right, and faint handwritten "K-302" and "Page 4" at the top.
The image is a scanned document page, predominantly white with some dark marks and smudges typical of older paper documents. It contains a table with columns for "Man", "Dose-Grams", "Pupil", "BP", "KJ", and "Subjective". Entries in the table include numerical doses, symbols like '+', '±', and 'o', and descriptive text in the "Subjective" column, such as "Relaxed, different" and "Giggles, arms heala-ted, no hallucinations". There are also obscured or redacted portions indicated by horizontal lines and the presence of an unofficial handwritten annotation in the bottom right corner labeled "B-6". The document appears to be page 5 of a report titled "Crude Fungus" and "Placebo - Spinach".
The document displays a table summarizing average changes in patients receiving K-302, crude fungus, and placebo, along with LSD. The table includes columns for Drug, Number of Patients, Pupillary Diameter, Systolic Blood Pressure, Knee Jerk, and Number of Questions, with numerical data presented for each category. Handwritten annotations include the page number "Page 6" in the upper right corner and "B-6" at the bottom right. A footnote explains that "X = Represents areas under time action curves." There are no images, stamps, diagrams, or redations on the visible portion of the page.
