You will notice that we were unable to e!thzr accentuate or inhibit the LSD reaction by injection of 0.4-0.6 mg. epinephrine /70 kg~ subcutaneously. Preliminary assessment of four materials received from _ the Sandoz Company has now been completed. Three of the materials proved to be psychotomimetic agents, though weaker than LSD. The doses approximately equivalent to 1.0-1.5 mcg./kg. of LSD are: LSM, 6-9 rncg.jkg.; D~~-57, 10-1$ mcg.Jkg.; LPD-824, 10-15 mcg./kg. A more extensive study of these three materials is now underway. \ DL0-57 did not induce any psychotomimetic changes,· even . ! \ i in doses of 100 mcg./kg. The vault door is depicted as a circular, metallic entryway with various mechanisms and a prominent dial. The text describes the document's origin from "The Black Vault," an online database of declassified government documents, specifically the "MKULTRA/Mind Control Collection." It mentions that the collection contains over 20,000 pages declassified by the CIA and provides a URL for download. There are no photographs, handwritten annotations, signatures, official stamps, forms, diagrams, tables, redactions, or visual evidence of experimental procedures. The document is a typed letter dated December 10, 1957, from the National Institutes of Health. Handwritten annotations include circles around "⑥(3)" and "①" near the top, as well as a circled "119" to the right of the date; a signature and "Director" below the closing; "HI:1w" and "Enclosures" in the lower left; and "A-413" in the lower right. There are no photographs, diagrams, tables, forms, or visual evidence of experimental procedures. Some areas of the document are obscured by paper texture and small, dark marks that appear to be related to the printing or aging of the document, rather than deliberate redactions.
