All subjects were carefully instructed in the nature of the work carried on in this office, were cautioned as to the secrecy of the matters invQlved, and the use of volunt'eer subjects in our experimental work. The first test. made on all subjects was the standard "falling baak" test; none of the subjec:ts were particularly suggestible to the test, although all experienced a slight swaying. The image displays a graphic with the words "THE BLACK VAULT" in stylized white lettering against a dark background with blue accents. To the left is an illustration of a vault door. To the right of the vault illustration, white text explains that the document was obtained from "The Black Vault," an online database of declassified government documents, specifically mentioning the MKULTRA/Mind Control Collection from the CIA. The text also provides a URL for the collection. There are no photographs, handwritten annotations, official stamps, forms, diagrams, tables, redactions, or visual evidence of experimental procedures present on this page. The document is a typewritten report with handwritten annotations. There are several areas of black redaction obscuring text, particularly in the upper and middle sections of the page, and at the bottom right. Handwritten marginalia appear in the top right corner, reading "A/B, 3, 2/94". A stylized drawing of binoculars or similar equipment is present at the top center. There are also circular punch marks visible on the left side of the page, indicating it was likely part of a binder. The text discusses experiments involving suggestibility, relaxation tests, and hypnotic lines, with references to "subjects."
