The memo is dated July 1, 1969, and is addressed to the Director of the FBI from the SAC (Special Agent in Charge) of the Little Rock field office. It outlines the results of actions taken during the period of April 1, 1969, through June 30, 1969. The document includes handwritten annotations and official stamps, including routing codes and dates that suggest review by various departments within the Bureau. There's a small illustration of a figure with a rifle near the bottom left, possibly related to a target or operation, and a printed line "U.S. Savings Bonds Regularly on the Payroll Savings Plan," which might be part of a pre-printed form or an unrelated detail. of\nthe LR SSOC, it is not felt the arrest of these individuals\npresents any opportunity for further counterintelligence\naction against the LR SSOC.\n"}, {"box_2d": [805, 461, 825, 506], "text_content": "-2-\n"} ] ``` SAC, Little Rock (105-555) | 10/17/68. 100-449698-25-7 Director, FBI (100-449698) | 52 - 1 Mr. REC 49 | 1- Mr. COINTELPRO - NEW LEFT Reurairtel 10/14/68. Reairtel requests authority to make an anonymous mailing to the parents of [REDACTED] who was described as having been involved in anti-Vietnam war demonstrations and as having attended meetings of the Southern Student Organizing Committee (SSOC). Authority to make such a mailing is denied. It does not appear, from information contained in reairtel, that your office has conducted sufficient investigation of [REDACTED] to established her relationship with the New Left. The mere fact that she has demonstrated against the war and has attended SSOC meetings does not sufficiently establish her sympathy for the New Left to consider counterintelligence action at this time. If you develop information at a later date that shows her to be a leader in a New Left organization, you should at that time consider appropriate counterintelligence action. Take no such action, however, without prior Bureau authority. After being away from home several months, she returned with an individual who gave his name as [REDACTED] and with whom she is currently living as husband and wife at her parents' home. LR advised an informant has stated [REDACTED] has openly bragged that she is not married to [REDACTED]. LR suggested an anonymous letter be mailed to her parents bringing out the fact that she was not married. While this proposal might be effective, it is not felt her New Left leanings have been sufficiently established. Loach per lahan Conrad bsen sen vel tele.
